Second consultation for Gloucester park plans

Gloucester City Council has carried out a second public consultation on proposals for the redevelopment of a city park.

Among plans for the Longlevens Recreation Ground is a new, larger play area and an extended football clubhouse, as well as new fenced and resurfaced ball court area.

The proposals for the redevelopment scheme were drawn up following initial public consultation in November, and the council is currently reviewing comments from the latest round of responses.

A spokesperson for the council said that they hope to be able to start work as soon as possible, but no further details were available at this stage.

The latest round of public consultation ended on 25 July.
