The centre, which is operated by Freedom Leisure on behalf of Hastings Borough Council, has been kitted out with new fitness equipment. new lockers, new shower cubicles and a new air handling system.

A Freedom For You member support programme has also been introduced, offering four different membership options to make joining more flexible. One to one personal training will also be available with new full-time personal trainer, "Gilberto".

Nicole White has been appointed new centre manager and joins from Freedom Leisure's Bexhill Leisure Centre where she has worked for the past three years.
