Olympic flame to arrive in UK tonight ahead of Torch Relay

The Olympic Flame is due to arrive at RNAS Culdrose near Helston, Cornwall, this evening (18 May) after it was handed over to a special delegation led by HRH, the Princess Royal.
A special flight from Athens, Greece, is transporting the Olympic Flame to the UK ahead of the 70-day London 2012 Torch Relay, which is due to get underway tomorrow (19 May).
It has already been on an eight-day relay around Greece, which included an overnight stay in the Parthenon on the Acropolis. The UK relay includes more than 1,000 locations.
Olympics minister Hugh Robertson said: "We stand ready to welcome the world this summer and showcase the very best of Britain."
